Writing from inside the app is easier

The Help tab has a button for each of the first two. It opens an email with the details we would otherwise have to ask you for: which version you are on, which phone, which language, your account number and your plan. You can read every line of that before you send it, and delete anything you would rather not share.

Whichever way you write: tell us what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. A screenshot helps more than anything else.

Your membership

A membership is a subscription with Apple or Google, so it is managed there: cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, which show by when, or tap Manage subscription on the Profile tab. Refunds and withdrawal go through Apple or Google under their terms; your rights as a consumer remain unaffected. Bought it before and it is not showing? Tap Restore purchases on the Profile tab.

Deleting your account

In the app: Profile, then Delete account at the bottom. Or write to privacy (at) taste10.com from the address on your account and we will delete it. That removes your taste profile, your scans, your photographs and your Taste Insights, and cannot be undone.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings first, or it keeps renewing.

What stays after deleting, and for how long

None of these holds your name, email address, photographs, diet or allergies. We delete the purchase and usage records sooner if you ask. More in the Privacy Policy.

Deleting only some of your data

Didn't finish signing up?

Without an account there is nothing to sign in to and nothing to delete in the app. Simply delete the app: what you entered during the setup is deleted automatically once it has not been used for 30 days.

Allergies

Taste10 reads what it can see in a photograph and tells you how sure it is. It can miss things: a warning is worth taking seriously, but no warning is no guarantee. With an allergy, always check the label or ask the staff.

Answers to common questions

The app's Help tab has the questions people ask most: what the score means, how Taste10 learns, what Taste Insights are, and who can see your data.
